Constitutional Recognition of Sign Language

On the 23^rd of September EUD organised a webinar on Constitutional Sign Language recognition and its impact when ensuring human rights for deaf persons. During the webinar presenters were answering the following questions: Why only a few countries have achieved the constitutional recognition of sign language? What are the benefits of constitutional recognition of sign language?  How can National Associations of the Deaf advocate for this? EUD gathered the experts from Finland, Hungary and Slovenia to discuss their journey towards achieving the constitutional recognition of their sign languages and dispensed advice on how to do.
