UNCRPD Work forum on 29 April 2015

On 29 April 2015, European Commission hosted the Work forum on UNCRPD. There were some discussions regarding the European statistics and data collection on people with disabilities especially on its current and future plans. And the work forum focussed on the EU’s Structural and Investment Funds contribution to the implementation of the UN Convention.

Lastly, the EU’s implementation will be under scrutiny this year by the UN Convention’s committee. Those who have contributed to this examination through an alternative report will present their main findings and make proposals for improvement.
