Intersectionality in the European deaf community

EUD-webinar

On the 21^st of April EUD hosted a webinar on Intersectionality, as EUD understands the diversity as part of the collective richness of the deaf community and strives for inclusion, equality and equity in all of its senses. EUD’s aim is to ensure that, through its work the perspectives of all deaf persons, irrespective of their sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, age, sexual orientation, language and gender identity, are equally visible and rights of all deaf people are protected, respected and fulfilled. For this reason, EUD organised the webinar on Intersectionality during which we learned more about intersectionality within the deaf community. We will also explored how can we all work closer together and learn from each other to ensure equality, equity, diversity and non-discrimination.
