Den europæiske søjle for sociale rettigheder og det europæiske semester
Den europæiske søjle for sociale rettigheder (EPSR) er et initiativ, som Europa-Kommissionen har lanceret med meget ambitiøse mål: at bringe den sociale dimension tilbage i EU, at genoprette balancen mellem økonomiske politikker og sociale hensyn og at genskabe forbindelsen til de europæiske borgere,
samtidig med at der tages fat på centrale spørgsmål i forbindelse med ændringer i arbejdslivet og samfundet generelt, idet der fremmes højere sociale standarder. EUD sigter mod at sikre, at alle principperne og især princip 17 gennemføres for døve personer i EU.
