14. p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4th<\/sup> of November 2018, the Council of the European Union formally adopted the revised Audio-Visual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) and it\u2019s now published in the Official Journal of the EU. This is the final step in the legislative process. The revised AVMSD entered into force on the 20th day after its publication in the Official Journal of the EU and since then, Member States of the EU have 21 months to transpose it into national legislations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
