EUD Executive Director, Mark Wheatley witnessed the significant achievement for the Flemish Deaf Community on 10 July 2013. The Flemish Parliament approved the Education Law regarding sign language interpreting services from early years to adult education. The Federation of Flemish Deaf Organisations (Fevlado), our member, has campagined for this service to ensure every Deaf child’s right to education.
