L'obiettivo dell'EUD è quello di raggiungere l'uguaglianza e la non discriminazione proteggendo i diritti umani di tutte le persone sorde, pertanto l'EUD mira a promuovere, proteggere, monitorare e sensibilizzare in modo significativo i diritti umani di tutte le persone sorde nell'UE attraverso le sue politiche, lo sviluppo di capacità e il lavoro di comunicazione.
