3. Do not take my spot! – The EU Disability Parking Card

On the 18th of March, EUD attended to the event on EU disability Parking Card hosted by the Disability Intergroup to discuss the main issues such as the different means by which the parking card was issued as well as the fraudulent use and blocking of parking spaces. The issues find his origins in the 1998 Council recommendations. These recommendations were not binding and are intended only for minimum harmonisation.

4.End of Spring Internship

Opportunities:

We offer 2 paid internship placements twice a year.  Along with the occasional project positions too.

Internships:

EUD has accommodated two types of interns.

-       People who wish to apply for an EUD internship, will submit an application when there is a public call. The European Commission funds the costs associated with this role (flights and monthly payment). These interns must be nationals of an EU member state. Internships must be 3 months minimum in duration.

-       EUD also accepts internship applications from individuals who are not from the EU and/or university students, but who have some type of scholarship that covers the cost of their transportation to and overall stay in Brussels. EUD is open to providing these applicants with an office space and a deaf environment in which to work.
