The event was&nbsp;organised by Leonard Cheshire International (LCI), who presented their global work on inclusive employment pathways for youth with disabilities during the&nbsp;pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Inclusive Employment - Side Event to High-Level Political Forum   .mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/641450284?h=9d38e46631&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event,&nbsp;the speakers discussed the barriers to equal access to employment faced by youth with disabilities, such as the lack of access to technology.&nbsp;LCI&nbsp;presented the findings of their project,&nbsp;A2E, including its progress in Thailand. The event provided&nbsp;examples&nbsp;of employment solutions for youth with disabilities in places such as Kenya, within the Innovation to Inclusion (i2i) programme which includes e-learning, virtual job fairs, and a mobile app called i2i Talent.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event provided examples of how to achieve sustainable and resilient&nbsp;recovery from the pandemic&nbsp;to improve the lives of youth with disabilities.
