EDF toolkit on inclusion of refugees and migrants with disabilities

On the 29th of February 2020, the European Disability Forum (EDF) launched the toolkit on the inclusion of refugees and migrants with disabilities. EUD has collaborated with the EDF prior to the delivery of the toolkit and provided EDF with input on how to be inclusive of deaf refugees and migrants.

The toolkit provides with a legal and policy framework, examples of activities that could be undertaken and recommendations for the possible actions. In the Annex of the toolkit, the specific challenges of deaf refugees, migrants and asylum seekers are explained, and recommendations are provided.
