The Zero Project

EUD

The Zero Project advocates the rights of persons with disabilities internationally by monitoring the national implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and highlighting good policies and practices.

Knowledge collected over the last several years by the Zero Project, in cooperation with over 100 experts from NGOs and foundations, academics and persons with disabilities, has been summarized briefly with a special focus on accessibility.

At the conference ‘A Prelude to the European Accessibility Act: Findings of the International Zero Project Report’ on the 21 June 2012 in the European Parliament this knowledge is presented and discussed, under the patronage of the Disability Intergroup of the European Parliament and in collaboration with the European Disability Forum, underpinning the call for a European solution on accessibility.
