Access City -palkinto

European Commission have launched yet another edition of the Access City Award. Cities with more than 50.000 habitants can submit their applications until 10 September. The winning cities – those making outstanding contributions to our common goal of achieving a barrier-free Europe – will be announced on 3 December, on the occasion of the European Day of Persons with Disabilities.

National Assocaitons of the Deaf are encouraged to nominate their cities whose good practices should be rewarded or can use the Award as an encouragement to make progress. 

Deadline: 10 September 2014, midnight Brussels time

The press release, the guidance note and the participation rules are available in all EU official languages to facilitate participation.
