Evaluation of the European Disability Strategy – Online Survey

Evaluation of the European Disability Strategy - Online Survey

The European disability strategy 2010-2020 (hereafter the disability strategy) is the EU’s main policy document in the field of disability. It sets out objectives and actions for implementing disability policy at EU level. The disability strategy aims to promote a barrier-free Europe and is the tool used for implementing the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) at EU level.

As the disability strategy will end in 2020, the European Commission is evaluating its implementation. This public consultation aims to collect evidence and views from the broadest possible range of stakeholders in order to assess the strategy’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, and EU added value. You are not required to have any previous knowledge of the disability strategy to participate in this consultation.

Standard version and easy-to-read version

The survey has been drafted in the following was to ensure that the widest possible range of stakeholders can understand it and participate. To ensure that persons with intellectual disabilities can participate in the survey, an easy-to-read version is available. Please indicate if you prefer to use the standard version of the survey, or the easy-to-read version. Once that you have chosen your preferred version we recommend that you keep it throughout the whole survey.
